Advanced Papel Picado

Papel picado is a delicate cultural practice that requires attention to the folding and cutting of tissue paper. Here youths are challenged  to create intricate fold-design cuts and explore varied outcomes by taking risks.


Celebration Stencils

With a backgroup understanding of Chinese paper cutting art form and modern street art, teens create negative and positive space stencils that celebrate something important to them.
